Default bearing question

could a main bearig be bad to cause a bad tail vibration i noticed a little slop in main bearing only after 5 flights then started to notice when spooled up tail developed bad high speed vibration

Yes, the tail will show any vibrations in the heli, most tail vibration issues in the T500 are NOT in the tail

I have not seen the "slop" cause a problem with the main bearings. If the blades hit the ground, the bearings are almost always notchy and need to be replaced. The only way to tell is to pull the main shaft and check each bearing individually.

My motor needed new bearings after 300+ flights and caused a vibration, another pilot at the field had bad bearings in a new motor. I discovered it by pulling the main gear out and running the motor up, It vibrated at mid stick, but was OK at low and high rpm's

You mentioned 5 flights, is this a new heli?
Have you adjusted gain?
Have you tried different foam for gyro mounting?

i just put a new hyperion 1400kv motor in about a dozen flights ago will check bearings on it today after work thanks
