Default Red Metal Shapely Reinforcement Plate And Brace

Hi all just wondering is the Red (Metal Shapely Reinforcement Plate And Brace Assembly H70B002XX) worth it?
I mean does it really strengthen the area around the motor to the point you can actually feel flight performance? Or is it just bling

I have them on my 450. Can't say about the bigger birds, but on the little one it's...

On the 600 pro it really reinforces the frame. I know because without it the motor can easily touch the servos on the 600 from frame flexing. Now does it do any in-flight difference? I don't think so tbh.

For me, I just couldn't see the skinny aluminum ones that Align came up with doing that much good, so I designed and cut a set of CF doublers that mate up with the existing frame screws for my 600 pro. I think they are stronger and yet lighter than the aluminum ones.

Hmmm maybe it does stop the frame from flexing just look at the top of my 850MX and noticed the top 2 ripples of the motor can had worn down where the frame has flexed and the plastic frame has hit the motor

On the 600 PRO, if you don't have that brace... the motor can actually torque and twist itself enough to hit the servos! This of course, was proven to me by a local flyer. He's an extreme smack 3D pilot. I mean really good. Flies the thing at 2800 rpm wide open. But you can see what that brace does. Its not just bling-

It keeps the motor from twisting around. This could be evidenced in hitting the servos, frame... or twisting off the pinion. All of these scenarios are not good. I'd recommend the braces for sure.

The huge spinning disc want to stay in motion on it's terms... the motor wants to stay in motion on its terms.. where they meet in the middle... twists the motor in its mount.

The motor brace is to keep the pinion and motor shaft perpendicular to meet the main gear mesh.

I have the 600l dominator and even with the frame motor mount red bling bracing I recently noticed my left cyclic servo had motor grooves in it.

Not sure what to do now
