I am running a different setup, but as far as DR goes, I don't use them on heli's. I don't run a lot of expo on the 700 either. I flew a 450 for my first couple of years with no expo. Wish I had more to offer for your setup.

30% is high but safe expo to start. It might seem sluggish, But if you are shaky, it will keep you safe.

Any settings in the 7200bx will be somewhat unique for each heli.
I hope you have 7200bx experience before putting it on (and flying!!) a 700 size bird!!

Same setup here but I haven't got into programming yet. Post yours I'm sure others will review it, and I'd like to see it.

What transmitter are you using? I use an 11xg, I can email my programming and you can import it, but only to another 11xg.

I have an AR7200BX that I'll be setting up with a CC160 and an 800MX (520kv) pretty soon, so I've been searching for info to replace my ignorance. So far, I found three interesting videos and some pdfs with setups on them.

The first alarming item is that you "have to perform a throttle calibration" on the 7200BX, but the ESC will not go into setup mode by normal means due to a safety feature (normally you would power-up everything with the throttle up). This video deals with that:

Castle ESC Endpoint Calibration with AR7200BX (14 min 3 sec)

This is a series that I'm about to watch:
How to program A Castle Creations ESC part 1 (2 min 52 sec)

Dark Horse Helicopter Power & Setup Calculator
This site is just plain awesome. It is the one mentioned in the above videos:
http://dhrc.rchomepage.com/calc.htm

Here are a couple of more that are somewhat helpful:

Castle Creation ESC SETUP PART1 (7 min 30 sec)

Castle Creation ESC SETUP PART2 (5 min 16 sec)

Setup examples:
Castle Link Files for Align Helis

I have an awful lot to learn. This will keep me busy for a while. Please post your findings and I'll keep looking, too.

Thanks for the info Dave! I haven't made much progress yet - still assembling parts.
