Keep it close, heli videos taken with phones are sometimes hard to see, especially with macros.

Does anyone know the release date? I remember hearing Mid-April?

Amainhobbies has an expected date of 04/27

The Blade website just lists late April.

Model flight doesn't have a date but they do have a price..... $450 for a slightly better maybe 300X. Um, 450x is cheaper than that with the same electrics. I'd just buy the 300X fly it a bunch, crash it then transfer the surviving parts to the new frame and use all Lynx aluminium head, it all fits way better than the blade stuff anyway. Or as mentioned go 450X, come to think of it the 500X is slowly approaching that price.

Good comparison. I see no reason to buy a 300x when the 450x is nearly the same price, more stable, easier to see, and (possibly) more popular. The 500x may be getting cheaper but the batteries outweigh any cost savings on the airframe lol

And it will cost a bunch more to crash too, but come on, you're getting a 500 size heli!

I chose the 300x for its size and part availability, not price. I've got about an acre of open space in my backyard which works out great for this size heli and my current skill set.

That's why I treat my 500 like a trophy, and my 450 like a pinwheel.

I had the same thing happen when I got my 500. All of a sudden, I didn't care so much if I crashed my 450, since it was so cheap to fix (in comparison). My 500 actually made me like my 450 more, since I'm more free to just let it all hang out when I'm flying it.

Default discontinued 300X

Been on the fence with 300X now discontinued. So I may after reviews, beta testing, HeliFreakers chimes add a 300CFX. I really like my 450X, 500X, and Mcpx-bl so hopefully this Summer BNF 300CFX. And my Mcpx-bl now (I love) seems so small for older eyes I figure 300 could be my park flyer replacement.

Edsel

What are the chances of a video of you or some other members of TeamHH thrashing this little bird around in Vegas?

I think we were all having too much fun with the 700x. And it was extremely windy. (30mph at times)

Yep, it was windy in Vegas. They said the flew it on Friday when it was less windy. I got to hold it though, it's a nice heli.

Default At the LHS

Got a call yesterday that my LHS had received their shipment of these birds! Unfortunately, it's not in the budget at the moment and I couldn't get there before closing to check it out. I may try today to see if I can look at one but what's the use if I can't purchase?

Oh well, at least I can watch the reports of those that can get one and see.

no clue- but if you order parts from blade, look at them closely.
The dampeners in the stock alum head are wrong and the fasteners sold are incorrect- just two of the errors I've found.
