Wow something really sounds mechanically wrong. What heli, tail servo? and I think you said you moved the ball all the way in on the servo horn so it shouldn't have much throw.

The horn that came with it had two holes and I was in the one closes to the center then I put one on with three holes to get closer to the center. I noticed the tail slider doesn't need much travel to go left and right but it seems normal.

Yeah doesn't take much I have the 450L tail on my pro. Never had it bind up though and you're at 100/100 on the first screen and you said 40 on both left and right travel limit?

Yup, I have a Sport V 2 that I converted to FBL with a ar7200 bx and use my dx9 with it with no problem.

The dx9 is new and I am still figuring it out but up to setting the tail all other sticks are working normal and with the push rod off Rudder stick seems normal

how much past is it pushing it? Maybe your description will click for someone else I'm not seeing how it's possible to bind on both sides.

sounds like servo horn or rod is to long. Odd though I just looked at a picture of mine and it's using the second hole so it's even further out then yours is.

I can't get the ball any closer to center of servo and the rod has to be good because with sevro horn centered the tail slider is centered

I've got it now I guess I am just tired. I have 58 on both sides for the tail now a little more work I should be able to get 60. I have been working on this thing all day and my old eyes were tired. Should it be centered in rate mode or hh I think I read rate to center. Thanks for all the help I should have everything right tomorrow. |

How do I start to get it like you are talking about? That looks like a good bit of pitch. Can you get a measurement between the blades? |

Ok, I was just making sure since when I asked you said "I think it should be in rate mode." This led me to believe you weren't sure on how to check. As far as the pitch on the tail goes, you adjust that by adjusting the length of the tail rod. Just make sure your rudder neutral position is at 0 in the software and then adjust the rod. Mine is sitting right about 21mm from tip to tip. It probably won't be perfect right off the bat, mine wasn't. This is just to get you in the ballpark. Once you take off for the first time you can flip it into rate mode and see if the tail drifts. If it drifts a pretty good bit then I would adjust the rod until you get it as close as possible. Then you can use the rudder neutral position in the software to really fine tune it.

I read a long time ago that the bird should be setup just like you are talking about. I think most people don't do it just like you said about the video but I would like mine to be as good as possible and again thanks for your help.
