Default Clutch fan bad luck, REALLY bad

If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any. I ordered 2 clutch fans. One to replace the one that rubbed against the shrouding and one as a back up. As I am installing the new one I notice one of the fins are busted off. I'm thinking it sure is a good thing I ordered a backup. I grab the second one in the package and can you believe it? It has a broken fin also. The broken piece isn't even in the unopened package of the second one so I am thinking they both came from the factory like this. The crazy thing though is they came from different orders and different places. What are the chances of that?

I ordered one myself, due in tomorrow. Had to order a new one due to the original having a wobble to it, about .010" run out. May or may not be effecting the performance, worth a try... Hopefully the one I get is complete.

Send an Email to info@synergyrchelicopters.com and we will take care of you. The plastic fan fins can be broken throughout the shipping and handling process all the way from the factory, distribution, dealers, and finally to customers. Our apologies for the broken fan.
.010 inches / .25mm of warp will not cause problems with a very light plastic fan.

Thanks,

Matt

Just got my fan in from Experience RC. Broken in the bag, no part floating around...

Mine looked like that also. They must be getting packaged that way because mine didn't have the broken piece inside the bag either. Matt is taking care of it
