yes you would just get the SE version control rod.

or get a CF rod. i got one for another heli and trimmed it down to fit the 250 (cant remember what rod it was) but it came from align-trex.co.uk.

The rod was a little too long. The plastic ball links were screwed into a metal colar which was then glued onto the cf rod, so all that was needed was to work the end of breaking the glue, cut the rod with a hacksaw and then CA glue it back on.

I could certainly make my own. Although if there is a part available I would much rather just purchase it. Coptor x sounds like a good lead. I'm gonna go to their site and investigate right now.

Copterx is the ticket. They offer "se" versions with the parts I'm after. Heck the parts list was already near 30 bucks. They have the whole helicopter for $49. I think I'm going to go that route and just get the whole helicopter and use the parts that I need. Thanks for the tip.

i bought a carbon rod for another heli of align-trex.co.uk but cant remember which heli (might have been the oxy 3??) it was too long so i trimmed it down to size. the ball links were screwed into a metal collar that is glued onto the CF rod, so i just broke the glue and removed it, hacksawed the rod to size and CA glued the end back on.

Will I just need to make my own?
The booms from the older models have the right rod length.
