Yeah, stock chargers can be a bit dodgy. Didn't expect this from Blade though.

My V977 USB one charged one cell to 4,4V

It's kind of puffy now, surprise surprise.

I guess you use stock chargers at your peril.

Rebalanced main rotor, less vibrations now.

Next is a cosmetic issue, body glued misaligned where the front of the detachable cabin sits, so the cabin does not fit right. Will try to unglue and redo it. Lots of CA holding the body parts together, despite the screws...

Since I mapped flight envelope to gear switch (independent of flight mode), seems the best way for me to take of in agility mode is to spin up in stability mode until the blades straighten and the heli does no longer dance (to keep the swash straight), then switch to agility, than takeoff almost perfectly vertical.

Argh, broke one landing gear (had some medium rough landings, no actual crashes), and it is part of the entire body set which costs and arm and a leg in Europe. Will have to get creative with some thin piano wire (as reinforcement) and CA.

HH: it would be nice to have a separate bundle with only the landing gears and the little machine gun that sits underneath. While stability mode keeps the heli upright, it cannot avoid less than perfect landings. And since this plastic is of the rigid and weak type it does not survive for long.

Same here. I did manage to CA it back to working condition and it even survived a few landings.

Then I nicked a tree branch and it disappeared and the other one broke.

They need to make them a separate part for replacement.

Used pieces of antenna tube to make reinforcements... really ugly but can't afford to order and entire body set only to break them again

Below you can see the stress point on the one that did not break... yet...

They really need to be made from a stronger material.

Had a few botched takeoffs in which tail motor did not get up to speed so heli started spinning... anybody experienced something like this? There was some extra noise, like tail was cogging. Landed, took off again, no issues. No binding, very little vibrations.

Yeah it seems I have to do this from now on

But it shouldn't happed, a short twitch until motor is up to speed is normal, but the heli rotating out of control is not

Startup procedure becomes longer and longer with all those quirks (sorry intended new features) of the safe enabled receivers

Mine did the same thing, a little more force and it moved and came out. I believe it was one of the zip ties hanging up.

Lost orientation, dropped upside down throttle off. Results: stripped reduction gears, bent main shaft, stripped servo. Hmmm. May get expensive.

Click on the red triangle on the left and "report" a post in this thread. In the comments section say you are reporting it as a request to have it moved to the relevant section since there's now an AH-64 specific sub-forum for Blade.

The AH64 landing gear is a weak point.
On a hard landing, it breaks, due to the angular construction..
I broke one landing gear, but instead of ordering the whole smear, I fixed it as follows:
I drilled a 1mm hole through the strut and inserted a 1mm CF rod.
Additionally a modeled an extra vertical strut, painted it and glued it between landing gear and fuselage as seen on the two pictures.
Now it can take reasonable hard landings.
The offered stainless steel landing gear seems to be a good bet, if you are not a decent handcrafter for mini-repairs

Default apache x2

so i bought the second one(bnib), on sale.
this one is more tame wiyhout PID changes.
my first one just broke one landing gear,
replacement is at hand, unfortunately, the body, it's freakin
glued. i have to resort in this bracing-the-landing-gear-thing.
it'll be ugly, sure will work.
i'm at 90 on the 'I'.
and lowered expo except rudder.
