If you get this connector then you can use any JST battery.

http://www.rc-connectors.com/index.p...roducts_id=256

I am using Sky Lipo 350s and Zippy 350s. The zippys are very small/light which is nice (helps since 130x is so nose heavy), but dont seem to have as much pop as the Sky Lipos.

For my skills (flying basic circuits, practicing orientations and some limited inverted hovering/flips) both the Sky and Zippy batts are fine for 4 minutes. But if you are doing 3D, I think you wouldnt get more than 3 minutes out of them as they seem to drop off after that.

I dont know of any 3rd party batteries that are available with the stock 130x connector.

Not sure about UK avaiability. Got my Skys from HobbyPartz.com and zippys from HobbyKing.

Depends on if you want lots of flights for cheap or more power than stock. I'm gonna go with the Thunder Power 325mah 65C as they seemto be the best performing battery over stock. I would rather have more power during flights than more flights with cheap batteries but that's just my take.

10 TP 325 65C packs here, loving them all. In fact, they say they support up to 12C charging so I sacrificed one pack as an experiment. I have eight cycles on it so far, charging at 3.9A every time. Charged in less than 6 minutes each time and barely gets warm ...

I don't feel any need to upgrade the motor at this point ...

That's kinda where I'm at too, if the TP battery rids the heli of bogging for the most part then I'm happy with that. More power could mean more stripped gears and such and overall I like the power it has, just need it to hold onto the power through more maneuvers.

I've looked all over for the TP 325 65C packs- everywhere I've been shows out of stock (must be all of you 130X owners snarfing 'em up). Anybody have a link of where they are in stock?

I cycled a Pro Power 45C at 5C charges and 17.8C discharges for 300 cycles.

There is already a video of me flying in the parking lot with a 130X, check a couple pages back in this forum.
