main shaft spacer question
so now that I have 20-30 flights on my 700e 3g I picked up the heli after a flight and noticed some vertical play in the head it's not alot but i never noticed before. everything looks fine I am wondering if i should use a thicker spacer for rhe main shaft in between the swashplate and top bearing block you can clearly see the play there when picking the heli up by the head. any suggestions would be greatly aapreciated
thanks |

Yeah, mine do it after time. I've found that sometimes trying to go the next size up makes it toooo damn tight to get jesus bolt back in. I got so tired of my 550 always 'loosening' up I actually took the spacers our completely and it still flew just fine. Do what you can, just don't make it to tight. Another thing you can do is loosend the upper bearing block and try to pull it up and retighten, this has worked on my 700 nitro.
