Default DX4E and phoenix

I realize that this topic is probably not new but I would like to ask, How do I get the dx4e to fly helis inverted in Phoenix? I have tried several ideas such as going into the phoenix transmitter menu as well as trying to shorten the throw of the collective during transmitter set up. any ideas would be great!

Thank you

Find the keyboard key assignment, or assign a keyboard key, such as Z, to the Idle Up function. You can do this in System --> Your Controls.

Then choose a CP helicopter, such as any T-rex 3D and turn on Idle Up (press the assigned key) to get negative pitch at below center throttle. You can easily tell if this is working with the heli on the ground if the blades keep spinning at full speed when the throttle is fully down (left stick down). Also you may notice that the heli kind of squishes down on the skids a little due to the negative thrust. Now you are flying in "Idle Up" or "Stunt Mode".

Once you are in Idle Up, a quick way to get inverted is (with sufficient altitude) to pull back on the right stick (elevator) and rotate the nose up and over, so the heli is skids-up, while (at the proper moment) lowering the throttle and feeding in negative thrust to keep the heli airborne.

Now almost all controls are reversed and you'll crash almost instantly. It typically takes *months* of practice to learn how to control a heli while it is inverted. There are some training and videos, and tons of stuff online to help you with the basics, but it takes a lot of practice to get proficient.
