Default Finally got it balanced!!

I finally got my helicopter balanced and I'm starting to learn how to fly it. So far I've had it about an inch off the ground with the training gear on and very steady (keeping it within a foot of where I started) in light wind outside!

You will find it easier to hover if you take it higher off the ground. I'm quessing that you have a zoom? Just keep at it and you will be flying in no time. Just be sure that you are very comfortable with all aspects of the hovering process before you try to fly. Good luck

Thanks, I'm working on getting it higher and higher each time I take it out. So far I've had a lot of great attemtps outside with some wind. I can tell that I'm getting much better at reading it and adjusting accordingly. I think I'm getting to the point where a LiPo battery is becoming necessary though.

I've got a Walkera #35 which is pretty much a Zoom 400 V1
