i want to do flight modes in my transmitter. do i just ignore this part of the set-up?

please, will it not just stay at defaults?also, if i set my swash mix for say 43% for 8 deg aileron, than i set my elevator to 43%also, reguardlessof the actual degrees of elevator throw
