Default Clutch Liner - which way?

I just picked up the new blue Align clutch liner. The two sides of the liner appear to be different. While they are both smooth, one appears to be "marbled" while the other side is uniform in color. Which side gets epoxied to the bell, and which side mates with the clutch?

Marbled side facing the clutch.

Hope this helps.

FANTASTIC.... I had a 50/50 chance of guessing right, and of course, I guessed WRONG.

I'm going to run it that way anyhow... I'll just replace if it doesn't work.

Seriously though, I do think that the marbled side goes toward the clutch. Why else, would they make it that way?

True - maybe I'll start making designer clutch liners. Could be the next best thing when we get bored of Flybarless.
