Fusono Canopies

Just curious, how long does it take to get them and what country do they come from. They look great and I am kind wantin an unpainted one, but I dont see them on their site. Thanks

I ordered one a on 2/27 and don't have it yet. They were proactive about the order and I received serveral emails asking me to clarify the pilot name personalization. Shipping emails said something about Vietnam.

I ordered the same one as in your Avatar Buddha, on Thursday March 8th.

I've received an E-mail saying it's processing. Assuming it's coming from Vietnam, i'd say 3 weeks to a month is about right. Can't wait, how do you like the looks and quality?

It looks beautiful, the paint is perfect, high gloss, obviously well done. I am sad to say that I crashed hard this weekend, nose first into the ground while doing backflips, broke all sorts of stuff. I did take a little chunk out of the bottom of the canopy, right on the very bottom where it would sit under the ESC. However I dusted it off and the rest of it is ok, couple little cracks in the paint on the bottom... but quite frankly I'm surprised it survived and still looks awesome.

I tend to crash a lot, so its likely I will get plenty of chance to test its durability. If I ever have to replace it, I'll order two

I recieved an E-mail today about my product being shipped. Pretty quick to be honest. Knowing it's coming from Vietnam I did pay for UPS shipping. It was 17$ for 3 day, but I feel that time is money and normal mail would have taken a month.

So far i'm pleased with Fusuno, I cant wait to see my new Canopy

Not to rain on your parade, but I only paid for "normal" mail on Feb 26 and picked it up from USPS (ships with signature confirmation) today. Keep us posted if the "expedited" fee is worth it, I hope it is, because I am considering ordering a similar canopy for my T-Rex 700E.

I already posted this picture in the 450X picture thread, but I figured why not color up this thread with my new canopy. It's going on my 4503D anyway!

There's gotta be some sort of funky tint at work, all his aluminum parts look gold!

SWEET!!! Great job on the heli! I wonder if Fusuno would leave the "450" off if I custom ordered one for my 425?

Yes, they offer the option to make logo changes, you just need to special request it with them prior to submitting the order. Once you add it to your cart it will bring up the window for customization. I screwed this part up when I ordered mine. You must create an account FIRST and then add your canopy to the cart, or the customization will not be added. My canopy is not customized because of this, though that may have been what contributed to my abnormally fast delivery time.

Yes when I replaced a broken frame, I painted it for better visibility

They say yes but I asked for 420 3D and it arrived with 450 3D

EDIT : ordered Thursday March 8th, arrived in 7 days to the tee... very nicely packaged and looks AMAZING. super high quality. It weighs in at 34.6 grams, Factory Canopy was 28.x grams. Not too bad! Nice work

Mine arrived today. I ordered on 2/25 so two days less than 4 weeks. It was very well packaged. Much better than some stuf from varios Hnk Kong shops. Very sturdy outer box. Canopy itself filled with foam so it couln't be crushed. Love to rty it but still repairing my 450 from Monday's crash.
