Hello, i have preordered your lovely helicopter.

Myself and others are concerned about the stiff linkage you use from main grip to swash, is there any wear issues on this? Can you explain please?

Also we hope to have online manual to read, when will it be online?

How many KW is the drive system for? Can it cope with 4535LE scorpion motor and vbar gov or jive gov being so aggressive in the long term?

A lot of other helis cannot handle power, bearings get rough, gears wear or strip, frames flex.

Lastly not really techincal but what style/color is the heli we will receive from helidirect?

Welcome Goblin Helicopter!
I too have pre-ordered and would like to know about when a manual will be available.
Also wondering about where a full size VBar sensor would be installed.

Great questions both of you! The manual they have stated will be about a month out. Parts list and prices will be about 2 weeks.

Hi,

The system of damping of the Goblin is designed for 3D flight high headspeed and simultaneously to be effective at low headspeed.
This system is characterized by a content movement bound by HUB.
This movement is controlled through hard damber with low initial preload.

The linkage system, theoretically rigid in reality, for the elasticity of the uniball and linkage, is not opposed significantly to the movement.

As for the motor we currently have hundreds of flight with Scorpion Hk4525. With this motor we never had any breaks and problems on the transmission.
We did tests with the motor POWERCROCO 4530 in speed tests.
Even in this case we had no problems.

We flew with many types of servos, JR, Futaba, Outrage, Align. The Goblin flies like all other helicopters.
The high performance servos need if you fly high performance.

The weight of the model with HK4525, Jive 120HV, 4 servos, canopy Fusuno and blades is 3290 grams.

Mr Goblin, what is the maximum pitch the head can support without binding?
Do you have V-Bar profiles for Luca that you can share?

Welcome Goblin Helicopters.

What is the lowest RPM you can run for smooth 3D. Is the heli stable at this headspeed ie. no wobble in hover?

Can you give us a rough estimate on what it would cost to replace the boom?

Another question
How wide is the area where the ESC is mounted? I would like to know if there's room for a Hawk 120 HV ESC - http://arkrc.com.au/products/SJ%252d...L-LIPO%29.html

This is quite a big ESC at 73.4 x 56.2 x 31
In comparison the Jive 120 is 62 x 32 x 21

Hi guys,

The standard pitch without modification is + / - 16 °

The configuration file Vbar will be released in mid-November.

We have done tests at 1300 rpm and no oscillation.

The boom complete and painted will be around 70 USD

The area for ESC, is defined by an aluminum base that can act as a heat sink.
The size is about 58 x 100 x 35. Is not 100% rectangular. Attack pictures from the phone.
the ESC you have indicated is OK.

by the end of November will be released so many video assembly with lots of useful information.

Default Question for "goblinhelicopter"

Hello!

From the pictures and schematics posted so far, it appears as though there is no counter-bearing. Is that the case? If there really isn't any, how long are the motor bearings expected to last, like in the 4525LE? Thanks.

Cheers,
Rok
