I have done the double bearing mod, added a metal arm and metal links and the tail is probably as good as it's going to get, and its pretty good. It still can get a bit nervous in backward loops, but overall its nice and solid.

I run a Vbar mini, but I don't know the exact gain I'm running now - have been tuning it and have it mapped to a dial on my Taranis...I'll check next time I have it at the bench.

Im running the stock bat wing blades and before I switched to the metal control arm and w the bearing mod I was able to have my tail gain at 41 w 40mm tail blades. W the metal control arm im down to 29 w 38mm blades and still get a lil wag on faster harder maneuvers. Could the control arm stiffen up the tail that much to where my gain drops that low?

Simply add two 681X bearings and remove stock washer?

Thats what I thought, but its that you add ONE 681x bearing in front of the stock bearing. So it should go hub, blade grips, 681x bearing, stock bearing, washer, bolt. This raises the bolt a lil higher in the grips so you might have to file or sand down the end of the blade bolt hole to get it to fit.

Thanks alyon

But I tested all possibilities and the is best for me:
= first 681X (contacted with the hub) + stock bearing + stock screw (5mm)
* without stock washer

Result = smooth rotation of grips, no slop in grips, unecessary sand blades (including Align 42)

I do not flown yet, but from my experience there will be no problems

I will use Align servo for test purposes
