Again love the heli and beautiful canopy

Cool My skid mod.

Here's my landing gear mod. Used my TREX 600 ESP skids, and screwed 2 pieces of left over 1/8" light plywood on top. Drilled holes for landing skid screws after finding center of mass. Wrapped nylon zip straps to add strength and redundancy. Works really well for stable landings!

I have the HS set to 3150, yes they are the blades from Hobby Partz, says 3D Pro on the stickers in the bag, but no other nomenclature anywhere. they average around 22.5 Grams and fly really well, I have had 8 sets, they cost anywhere from 6 to 10 bucks!

I modded my HB FP V2 so I could use it with my DX6i.

If you don't mind me asking. How did you make it a brushless mod? Did you use an eflight 2in1 or something? I figure you only made the main motor brushless and left the tail stock. Is that right?

yeah the main reason for the conversion was so i could use my radio. but yes a blade SR 2 in 1 was used for the brushless main and brushed tail. Also gave me the ability to us an external HH gyro

hi everyone , I hope someone can help me
I just finish to build up my Trex 450 sport and I try to fly it , it is perfect , tail is hold very tight with Futaba gyro 401 , for easy and quickly I mount the gyro with the rubber band on the top at the back side of heli like Blade 400 or Trex 450SA , after I complete to text it I try to mount the gyro in the front of heli with double side tape but in this position my heli turn around when I start the power up , I try another place is on the top of bottom plate then it still turn around until I put it back on the top of heli then it comes back perfectly
could someone please tell me know how I can mount the gyro because with Trex 450 Sport I can not mount it on the top of heli
I appreciate your kindness
