Default What comes with the Kit?

Ok, I have this on pre-order and a few of them, not one. Which ever one goes through, I'll get that one and buy or cancel the rest. Will probably get it near Christmas and its worth the wait.

So what do I get for the $209? Its going to be my 2nd after a lama V3.

What more do I need to buy to make it fly? A radio.... and? Ayiiii, I'm excited! I know I'm going to love it. This is precision-made good quality stuff.

This is NOT going to be a good first CP heli.

You would be MUCH better off going with a 450 or even 500 heli.

Alrigh then since two of you suggested, I'm going to cancel this one. I'll get the Belt CP since its cheaper. I'm worried about the cost more.

belt cp sucks compared to blade400, unless you have a good tx so you can adjust the servo's and stuff then it might be aight

You might be right. I'm trying to go for something cheaper though. The blade 400 sounds like its more expensive.

The Blade 400 also comes with a TX.... you have to consider that.

If you want cheap, DO NOT MESS WITH HELIS. There is nothing cheap about helis.

And cheap helis are cheap for a reason.

I agree with Pinecone. My heli would have been around 1600 brand new, that isn't cheap

Thats a

Kit-320
Radio-350
Servos-160
Batteries-120
Charger-270
Gyro-150
Tools-70
Parts-100

1540

Those parts are from crashing, it aint cheap.

Now heres the thing, I got most of my charger and servos used (thanks john)

so that cut down alot on the price tag.

A Blade 400 is your best bet at a heli, and you can use the same radio on different helis and planes later.

Im gonna go against the grain here for the trex forum anyway. I say look at the belt cp. No its not anywere near the heli the trex 450 is but for the money its a good heli to learn on. Parts are cheep and comes rtf for less then a basic rex kit cost. Look at it the cost to learn. and get a feel for if your going to like it or not. Now if money isnt not a issue by all means the trex 450 or 500 is the way to go. I have owned a few esky heli and while not the best out there they are good for the money. But in this hobby you almost always get what you pay for. Dont expect hard 3d out of a 200.00 RTF

little bit excessive on the pricing...if a beginner really wanted to get into a 250 (not recommended), they could significantly cheaper. batts, charger etc.

alan-31 buy the 250 you can learn on any CP (you are dedicated, right? you will be fine!) Do not buy Blade 400 or Belt CP just be a man and get a 250 (hehe).

I tried a Blade CP pro and got it to hover many times-very squirrelly-crashed a few times but good first one for me and my wallet(cheaper parts too), Trex 450 much more stable-crashed a few times but much more stable-and expensive to buy and build and rebuild and rebuild, I think a Trex 500 is in my future(even more money) but I have learned ALOT about building the 450 and better understand heli flight mechanics and operation. Had I known: I wouldv'e skipped to the 500 in the beginning. Just my opinion.

Somehow I don't think he going to listen to your advise, shame, some people have to learn the hard way.

Good luck

I think the 500 (425mm blade helis) SHOULD be the new entry point, but most won't go there. It is not much more expensive to repair than a 450 (325mm) but much more stable. Oh well. If I had to choose a Belt CP or the Blade 400, I would choose the blade. I actually have seen them both first hand....
