Default 700 Crash

Crashed my 700 this weekend. Pilot error. The guys at the field thought it was a rekit: canopy, frames, blades (main and tail), one landing gear, and some minor parts. I was seriously thinking about moving the electronics to something smaller.

I'm not sure happy is the word but I was pleasantly surprised to have the cost just below $400. The nylon bolts did their job so the boom wasn't damaged.

Thanks. I've been flying since since March. I really like it.

I broke the plastic pieces on the main linkage arms. I was using SEcraft V1 servo arms on the cyclic. All 3 bent saving other parts. The main shaft and feathering shaft are fine!

My mate`s servos were ok as well he was using the sab arms and all of them broke ,but seeing how much energy the thing had as it piled into the ground inverted and bending the main plate as all the force went straight down from the head , it was like you had put it in a big press and squashed it !!!! makes you think when flying close to our selfs

Talking about flying close to ourselves. I must've been 50 feet away from the crash and I still managed to get hit by a piece of main blade. It hit me on the elbow, not hard, didn't leave a mark, but still!

That sucks. You could do a 570? Pretty decent size yet shares most parts with the 500.. would save a LOT of money in future repairs.

I bought my Goblin 700 used. I was looking for a 550 or 600 when the Goblin 700 deal fell into my lap. I couldn't pass it up.

My main model is an Align 500. I certainly wouldn't mind flying something larger like a 570.
