Been running the pyro handwind 535kv on 11t, 2100 jlog shows hitting 100 prcent pwm maybe a tad too often so i'd say you really need a t or 2 bigger for 4525le to run 2200 plus with enough headroom. Bloody pinions are impossible to get in 17mm, any mod 1 helical will work though so we need only find a long one that will fit the main gear. Maybe i'll run my tdr 13t just to get some data...and see if it eats the maingear!

Jive with internal Gov.
Stolla: I don't fly at 2200 , most of my flights are @ 1950 and my Idle 2 is 2100 , also I'm pretty sure that the KV is higher than the advertised 520, My HS was higher than the calculated by the Mmel calculator. epc2. |

Quite possible but you'll only know for sure when running jlog, you can clearly see when motor hits 100% pwm how the rpm decays, this is not noticeable by ear as its not really bogging but quite an eye opener, the trick is to get it as close to 100 as possible but not quite . Almost always you'll end up with at least a pinion size bigger. And while you may be thinking you are in the zone, wait till you get there, then you will notice!
But to be in the zone you also need a strong motor and a good esc, the new 4525 ultimate being yy is perfect for jive as its known the jive likes the yy windings, can handle over 200 amps no problem, off course the best high c lipos. For the old d wind 45 run ksa On fusionhawk with vbar gov works well even with the d wind. |

Do you all use the kits tailblades? I can't get them working with my 11T on 4525 Setup. 12-13 degrees of pitch and my tail get loose. Borrowed the Radix 110mm tailblades and tail is working fine now...
