What would you recomend

Hello, Im sure this has been beat to death and I am sorry.

I just got G3 today. I run a Mac. I know it wont work...

I need to get a pc, but I dont need a super machine. Just a basic machine to let me use G3.

Grafics card, GeForce 6800?

So what would be my beat inexpensive route? What are some useing here? I would prefer a laptop.

I don't think laptops really cut it too well especially if your
trying to make it inexpensive G3 needs atleast 1 gig of ram to run well I reckonl
it would be far cheeper to get a desktop system.

Be VERY careful what laptop you buy. It would probably be a very good idea to PM vitek here and make sure the laptop will work with G3 BEFORE you buy it.

I know my P4 laptop runs Reflex at 60+FPS but it will not run G3 hardly at all. My AMD Opteron Based desktop machines at home run G3 just as well as Reflex if not better.

Just to give you an idea of what it takes. This is what I use and I still can not run the backgrounds and shadows at the same time and get a good frame rate.
desktop
2.8ghz P4
2.5 gigs ram
All in wonder 9600


I'm going to put in a faster video card. Once heli's spot eating all my money.
