Default mCPX Blade Grips: Anyone noticed this difference?

I've seen quite a few mCPX blade grips in My day, but never noticed this:

All have a B near the screw...

But some have a 1 and some have a 2...stamped near the bearing end

Does this signify a change or upgrade?
Does it simply designate whether the mCPX is a V1 or V2?

I've got several theories, but no solid background

There was a recall for the v1 blade grips (no B).
Not sure what the 1 or 2 means.

I heard about the recall from a potential ebay customer...who indicated the "B" was the upgraded version...

But so far I cannot find anything about the 1 and 2 at the opposite end of the grip

Same here. Don't know what the 1 or 2 means, but will deffinately look into it. I know that the v1 "a" grips were recalled cause they would come apart and the blade and grip would fly off. Hence the v2 or "b" grips.

If anyone knows what the 1 or 2 means, please let us know.

I found this on the mSR X forum post #17:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=389832

"The number on the grip more than likely refers to the cavity number in the injection mold. I've one seen 1 and 2 on these which leads me to believe they have a two cavity mold making blade grips. Each mold cycle makes two grips, one from cavity 1 and one from cavity 2. The circle it is in is probably an ejector pin in the tool with the number in it."

Ok, I'll buy that...sounds like a way to eliminate the extra little tag that says "Inspected by #17" that used to be included in so many toy packages when I was in grade school

I do wonder if the fellow in the quoted mSRX thread who had the piro issue ever discovered the MM mod to resolve the problem
