Default MP5

One of the reasons why I love my country -

Here's a quick vid with my youngest son at the range yesterday with an MP5.

it's not a heli, but it's still about as cool as it gets

When I saw the title "MP5", I first thought you had found a new music protocol!!!!!!!!!

Jack, that is crazy! Your son is lucky I (and the rest of my family) am going to stay with my uncle and auntie in Philadelphia in June so would there be somewhere I could fire a gun out there?

What do you do, just go to a gun shop and ask if you can try a gun on the range around the back?

Oh and how heavy is that gun?

You have to look for a gunshop with a target range.

If they have a target range they usually rent firearms for use on their range. The bigger ones rent full auto weapons too.

Also, in most States it is legal to own a full auto. It requires a Federal Registration and a federal tax.

With a 30 round magazine it weighs about 7 pounds.

Great Ian. Been spending a lot of time babysitting my grand kids and remodeling my house. I love the grand kids and really, really hate plumbing.

Cool! Pretty nice form there too - good recoil control and no chicken wings. I wonder who taught him?

I really love the Heckler & Koch roller delayed blowback action. Nothing else feels quite like it. My carbine doesn't have the "Fun" setting, though... Just a semi-auto HK94k.

Im really loving my budget sev2 clone I't just does what you tell it

The upgraded belt flew nice but this is just brilliant. It now has a dayglo orange wind shield and t yellow gorilla paddles and tail blades.... a 450 is still tiny little black dot in the sky if your not carefull

If I remember correctly you were trying to get better roll response out of your HDX 450?

Have you tried a longer fly bar with light weight paddles, does more good than cranking the cyclic pitch up

Is that an UZI creteus? Sorry lol, I am a noob with guns. The only guns I see is on games.

Nice gun Mika I like the idea of semi-automatic because you can fire as fast as you can putll the trigger... If I had that gun you would think it is fully-automatic Just kidding

7 pounds with ammo... I would have thought more. But, the only guns I have held are old ones that dont work anymore They used to be heavier.

I wish I could own a gun My uncle lives in philadelphia but he hasn't got a gun because his wife (My auntie) wont let him... That would tick me off lol. And I am suprised how cheap the gun are too! The price for a real gun out there is the price for a pellet gun over here!

EDIT: Here are my guns

That's discusting right!

I'm there. 220 mm flybar with unweighted Gorilla paddles, lighter blades, and SE V2 washout arms for better swashplate clearance at high cyclic. Anything beyond this point would have to involve a bent flybar cage to avoid hitting the blade grips, and a smaller diameter swashplate.

Nice Cobray, Matt! Hang on to that piece - aren't they getting harder to come by these days?

It's pretty comfortable now. I think the heavy blades were creating a surprising amount of inertia, rendering most of my cures ineffective. I'm running Align woodies for now, and I have a pair of Radixes set aside for when I want more out of the bird.

Nice Carbine Mika!

I've taught all my boys how to shoot. Handguns, rifles, shotguns and full autos.

I believe that it's better to properly instruct and train them than worry about what would happen if they should come accross a firearm and have no idea how to at least "safe' it.

They've been taught from a very young age that if they want to hold one of my firearms, all they have to do is come and get me. But if they touch one of the firearms when I'm not there, I will kick their arse good and proper.

I love the MP5, like you said Mika, nice smooth action and a very nice feel to the mechanics.

The "chicken wings" gave me a laugh. I see that alot at the range. Usually when a self proclaimed "expert" is showing off.

We are lucky to have a coupla retired special forces guys that are members at our club. Those guys are absolutely amazing to watch. No wasted movement, no theatrics, just double or triple taps where ever they want to put them!

Nice MAC Creteus!

Is that a real suppressor?

The MACs are one of those firearms that cause instant loss of bowel control if you're looking at the wrong end of it.

Thats not a picture of mine. Its one off another site. Mines the same minus the suppressor. Its a cobray PM 11. It'll empty the 32 round clip in a second. I've been looking into getting a real suppressor just to have it but the prices are a little too steep.
