Cheap scale fuselage
Anyone know where an inexpensive or possibly unusable but patch able fuselage can be found? A friend at work who is learning to fly a full scale Hiller wants to make a ceiling fan using a scale fuselage. I showed him some online but he understandably isn't interested in the $400 prices just for a fan.

Man, you just missed a hell of a sale. Century fuselages NIB were on sale for $89 for a 600 (50) size and $99 for a 700 (60-90) size.
I'm hoping you've checked the classifieds on this and other forums as there are a few inexpensive fuselages out there for sale. Not sure what size fuselage you're looking for, but for a fan I would think anything smaller than a 600 size would be a good size. Check Ebay also as there are a lot of fuselages on there. Best of luck in your search!

Thanks Heli143. I was figuring on at least a 600 size. I'll tell him to check ebay too.

Forgot to mention. I've seen two scale Heli fans and both were done with 21st century toys scale helicopters. One was the Fire version and the other a little bird Army version. There are some on eBay and one is at around $70 right now. Google those fuselages and they're always for sale on the Internet. I bought one for $35 on eBay. Just have to be there at the right time.
Take care
