Going to start a thread for all of us to list your results for diffrent motor setups with results. Please add your results here if you have any.

One result per post to keep it simple


Hyperion Z3025-12T
26 tooth pinion, 4S2P 4200

97% throttle @ 2880 rpm

Outside temps 96f
motor temps 160f
pack temp 121f

45% throttle @2790 rpm

outside temps 92f
Motor temps 210f
pack temps 125

---I do not recommend running this setup w/o a smaller pinion motor gets too hot!----

24 tooth pinion, 5S 3700 Flightpower

85% throttle @ 2650 rpm
95% throttle @ 2800 rpm
100% throttle @ 2880 rpm


outside temps 96f
motor temp 163f
pack temp 113f

decent aerobatic setup thet won't overheat but not a 3D setup.

This bogged pretty heavily and caused bad tail blowouts. Not a good setup.

Good mild 3D setup but will bog under loads. caused some tail blowouts.

Killer 3d setup. temps shown are without the fan installed. Best setup I have tried to date.

CC HV 45 with Medusa 3.5A 6V
75% throttle 3000
Motor temp 166 F
Lipo temp 108 F
Esc temp 119 F

75% Throttle 2560 RPM (a lot faster than expected. Maybe it's not a 15-12 as labeled but a 15-10?)
