Default Any easier way to plug in motor leads

I am new to the 450x world and in the process of learning setup on my recently purchased used 450x.

There is a lot of good information here, but a couple of things I haven't found any hints for.

One thing is, what can I do to lengthen the male connectors for the main motor?. I have included a picture of mine. You can see the connectors are wearing because of having to use pliers. There has to be an easier way.

Second question, what pitch should I be seeing on the rear blades. Full right rudder provides almost 45 degrees, full left is maybe 10 degrees or less. I understand you need more pitch to fight the main motor rotation, but I am trying to find out what I should expect and if what I'm seeing is correct.

Thanks in advance for your help and all the great info in the 450X threads.

For my 450 3D, I re-routed the wires from the ESC to inside the frame and zipp tied to frame. The motor wires too - but looped so they attached to the ESC wires. Made disconnect and reconnect very easy. I can post a picture if required.

However, I have adjusted my DX7s settings to have HOLD pitch curve 0,50,50,50,100 so I can adjst pitch etc with TH on - so no longer disconnect the ESC wires (I'm carefull where I lay the controller so its not bumped) - mostly because the X wiring is beautifully laid out (don't want to re-route), and un-plugging and plugging the motor wires in the default position is a PITA.

Re tail pitch, I haven't measured but I think you are right.

Youtube the 450 3D tail setup from Mike (mechanically the same for x - just beastx is different).

2cants, that 3d video answered my question re tail blades. Thanks for that. I'll have to review the 3d videos to see what else I can pick up from them. Even some of the X videos are just 3d videos because the repair method is the same.

I hear you re TH, but I would like the security of unplugging the motor so will need to reroute the wires on the X. I just don't want to take the existing wring apart only to find out there isn't enough slack to do what you did on your 3d. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet.

If I can do it I will post a picture.
