You're gonna love it! But, you already know that.
You gonna stretch it, 6s, stock? Sent from my Tapatalk using iPhone.

Nah, I have a real load of 3S 2200MAh batteries so I'll fly stock for now.
My 500 is still not stretched, and don't plan on it for a while. |

Nope.
Bone stock, with ESC, blades and motor. Bill at MSH-Direct made me a deal I could not refuse! As usual, he went above and beyond for his customers! |

What FBL unit and servos are you going to use?
I started with ZYX & Hitec 5065/5084, and then found a good deal on MKS DS96/95i + AR7200BX and couldn't be happier.. Huge performance upgrade. I got mine from him too. He is one of the best sellers that I've ever dealt with.

For the moment, Flybarred, Hitec 65MG, Futaba 9257 tail, GY401 gyro.
It will get a Brain in July when they become available. I might transfer my BeastX to it though and get me some Spektrum H3000 on cyclic for this summer as I'll be stuck with it for 2 months on Metallica.. Flybars sucks! |

hehe... double the fun!
Don't know if you saw my posts about mine. I put the AR7200BX on my mini and the wiring is so nice and simple since I don't have a separate receiver. Since you will be able to use a satty with the brain, the wiring should be real nice too.

Cool - I bought a Mini about 4 - 6 weeks after I got my 500 Protos and alternate between which I like most - the 500 is so faasssttttt, but the Mini sounds really funky and is so manouvre-able,
The only word of warning, if I fly my Mini-Protos after the 500 Protos I end up flying much further away from me than I intend (the M-P is pretty damn fast as well) and struggle to see it sometimes. You'll love it though - I've barely flown my 450 since getting the M-P, only when I force myself |

Yours wiring looks nice too.. First time for me using the wire braid(my servos came with it already on the wires), but I think it really cleans up the look and no more chaffed wires. I'm gonna do my P500 when I upgrade the servo blocks to cnc.

Just curious Thalios... How long does it take for you to receive your packages from MSH-Direct to canada?

I ordered on Monday, got my package today. Of course, I'm not in Canada. But hey, MSH-Direct is super quick. Faster than HD by a day!!

See, Thalios, the way I figure it, MSH Brain's probably going to be great coming out but... you know all the trouble with the unit and all, I don't know how reliable the ship date is, nor what it's going to be like. At least you'll have it FBL now (albeit with analogue cyclics) and you're already familiar with the unit. And you can stick with it if the Brain is delayed or is rubbish (unlikely, but we got to think of that possibility). Upgrade cyclics if necessary. And you'll have it kind of already set up for your tour, so you don't have to muck around. I pondered building a flybar mini protos and I looked at the FBL head and the FB head instructions... and considered my (low) skill of flying - decided for a small heli like this it wasn't worth it. You'll save heaps of time fixing, but you know this already My LHS is allowing pre-orders for the brain (they are an MSH shop) but honestly unless it's a significant step up from a v-bar I'm probably going to wait a bit and see what it's like.
