My understanding is that the new XBus will have two mode A and B. A will support JR's propriety Bus system and B will support other systems like the Futaba CGY750.

But we will have to wait and see if JR mode B is a standard protocol that is already implemented by the FBL systems.
For the Vbar it seems to use the Universal Digital Input which is also used by Multiplex M-link so perhaps it is already compatible with some other systems then only vbar... But we dont know for sure untill somebody tries.

Just got delivered yesterday. But didnt have time yet to play with it.
But I can say that the gimballs feel amazing, really smooth and solid feeling.
Will be trying the xbus on a MSH Brain and Bavarion Demon (helicommand) 3X, I am hoping xbus is the same as Multiplex M-link... will see.

It should be fine as X-Bus mode B is really the same protocol as Futaba, Multiplex etc uses. If you set the FBL unit for single line RX and all channels map correctly then you are good to go. Enjoy it....

Do does that mean it works with the CGY-750?

Theoretically yes, I have not tested it myself, will do some tests over the weekend or as soon as I can get hold of a CGY750. Tested so far, VBar, iKon and ZyXs. All works with XBus B.

The same protocol does not imply the same information - both ways.

Thanks, as I have yet to "borrow' a CGY750 to test.

If the CGY-750 supports Multiplex M-link then it should work, supposed to be the same protocol.

I just realized, cgy750 only support sbus, not mlink etc... So i would say no, but i can test later to make sure.

Btw the spec for XBus mode B (Named UDI) is defined and made by Ulrich/VBar so i doubt it has been incorporated in the CGY
