Cool Blade CX2

I have a blade cx2 with a jet ranger body, a few weeks ago I noticed the bottom blade wasnt keeping up with the top blade, I called Horizon and they told me the engine was worn out, brushes. I replaced both engines and Im still having the same problem. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Check your bearings for drag on the outer shaft and make sure the brass spacer is properly installed between the lower bearing and outer shaft gear and lubed correctly. Also check your swash, if it is binding on the outer shaft or the swash ball is beginning to drag. Plus, make sure the outer shaft lock collar is installed with the ridge facing down. Pretty much covers everything mechanical except for pinion slippage, but you changed motors. Check these things first and let us know what you find. The bearings should spin easily with virtually no drag or even the slightest rough feeling.

At least now you know you have a spare set of motors that are good. Sorry, just trying to make this better here. They do wear out and it is not so bad to have a good set of spares.

I had one start doing that and it was a worn main gear. The teeth were worn just enough to let it slip and cause them to run at different rates.
