I have another one for you if you want it! I removed mine so i could install the Align bottom plate. Tired of the skids going every which way they wanted. Now if i could get the thing to fly right as a FBL heli haha.

, my goodness, you either have ten 250`s or you need to practice your landings

Edit: I agree with firehawk54, I switched to the Align bottom plate and skids and like them a lot better. I have had some hard landings and a crash with them and they are still holding up. They seem to be stronger.

Heh, they're cheap so I decided to order in bulk.

And I've built up a nobar 250, so I do think I might be crashing a lot this year :-)

That is one thing I am learning about this heli, and that is that replacement parts are pretty reasonably priced

I know all about this. The main thing they cost is shipping . At least for me here in the United States. In my first year I had just the one 250, and I crashed it so much, to minimize shipping I would buy the HK 250 tail booms, landing skids, landing skid pipes, and linkage rod sets in "10 packs" (that is 10 tail booms, 10 skids, 10 ...). The HK parts really reduced the cost of all my crashes the first year at this. And as you've mentioned, the skid/bottom plate is light, I like the black color, and they are like $1

I never would've bought one of it didn't come that way from a previous owner, but the KDE bottom tray for the SE is one serious piece of gear to add to you machine! It stiffens it up like nobody's business and it really is surprisingly light for how strong it appears to be. Mind you, I'll be torn on replacing it if I were to bang it up in a crash, but so far I'm teetering on adding it to the "must-have" list.
