Probably not the first to do this but since I'm almost out of work I have to save up gradually for my 700. I made these out of some computer parts which fit the frame like a glove and a few old cables that I saved. The standoffs are from all the computers I used to build. I figure it's another 30 bucks or so I put toward my disease. What da ya'll think? or

I see no issue tehre, I applaud your ingenuity. I did something similar in the past, recycling old slightly bent Gaui 200 tail shafts for the exact same reason, to save some ching.
