Have ya'll seen this bird yet? It looks fantastic and looks to have at least equal if not better performance than a STOCK mCPx. I might have to pick one of these up as my sport/3d trainer. Looks like a lot of fun!

Sim and 130 seem to suffice. This is probably gonna be no easier to 3D indoors, especially I you're just learning 3D (remember how easy James made indoor 3D look on the mCp?) and will be too small for outdoors. I'll pass but I'm sure many will bite. 2 helis is my limit, a small one for our front and a big one for the field.

I can't imagine this Nano being a 3D trainer. You'd end up having to milk every manuever to get them to work to where when you went to a bigger heli, you would have to learn them all over again. Even the MCPX was hard to translate what you learned into larger heli's.
I agree, the 130X and a sim is the way to go. |

You have to rememeber it is not always about moving up to the biggest heli for everyone. It is about enjoying flying in the environment you have. I personally do not get to fly a lot, and when I do it is normally in my house or yard. I find the MCPx even a little much to fly in and around the oak trees in my yard. I am personally looking forward to it!

Yeah, I only have a quarter acre with a big tree taking up most of my front yard. I was thinking that in the small grassy area (WAY too small to do anything but hover and piro the 130x), it might make sense to use it.
I'm still not convinced that the real world physics translate into a simulator, but do understand that it will help train you for the real thing, at least your thumbs.

Just preordered mine from Ampdraw. Hopefully, since it is similar to the mcpx, it wont have as many bugs out of the box.
This'll be a great addition to the hangar. I have a small house and I think it'll do well for inside flight. In spite of my earlier thinking, I may leave it non-brushless for a while so it doesnt have the headspeed of my other three mcpx.
