Nice job iceman33.

I just wanted to throw in for those looking for bearing if you have a hard time finding them as RZ-522, that they are non metric, or standard, 1/8 x 5/16 x 5/32" which if you just have to spec them in metric is 7.93 x 3.17 x 3.57mm

You should be able to get them at any bearing supply or Boca has them.

COOL. I have a locked up 430L I would like to take apart, but I had no idea how to get it apart.

Got my motor fixed. A few things:

I used a piece of 2" metal strap with holes I had laying around (Home Depot). It had been cut off at one end across the edge of one of the holes. This worked great for the shaft end.

4mm socket head machine screw heads fit the motor holes perfectly.

The holes for the machine screws should be 18mm apart on the tools.

Now only one end comes off. On mine it was the shaft exit end, but this was enough for me.

Pulling my motor apart I would a washer inside. This was what locked it up. I think I may have dropped it in during the build. If so I got something like 60 or so flights before it locked up.

So now I have a spare motor.

I used nothing as it took the tools to put it back together. You could use some blue Loctite.

I have that exact set up with No Braking, High Timing, Mid Batt. cut off, Heli 2 mode w/ Soft start/ Gov mode, and lastly with Quick Throttle response. I was just wondering what head speed your getting. Cause I have 2221-8 v1 w/ 13T and with my last ESC the Align BL35G which gave me 3200 HS easy at 100% but I have noticed that when I hit idle up 1 or even 2 I could usual hear it jump up and the head speed would really jump to 3200 but with this "New" BL35X (6v) ESC it will only hit 3000 HS tops and it would not jump at all or increase at all when I hit Idle up hear are my TC's
Flight Mode - 0,INH,80,INH,100
Idle Up 1 - 100,INH,90,INH,100
Idle Up 2 - 100,100,100,100,100
I have the DX-7 radio and I didn't know if you or anyone would know what to do to get my HS back up to normal with Gov mode if that's possible

IDK so correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't locktight just liquify from the heat the motor makes? Maybe CA instead? BTW what happens if you do touch the coils...with like a screw or something? Is there a way to fix it then?
