Default Future availability of the Synergy E5 platform

I am a fairly new pilot looking to go large. I am seriously considering the E5 because it seems to be a good platform to grow with. It is a proven airframe and been around for awhile now. Here in lies my concern. In this hobby nothing is around very long. Since this model is a couple of years old I am worried about future parts availability because this airframe may be due for an upgrade to a newer model. I expect to crash and therefore don't want to buy an airframe that will have no parts available in six months. What is the word on this airframe? Am I good to go? What does your experience tell you?

I don't see the E5 going away as it is such a versatile platform to begin with that can be stretched or Super Stretched to a 700 if you wanted to.

The E5 is not going anywhere anytime soon, it's just too strung of a platform. If anything you might see upgrades to this platform. New canopies and such. Buy with confidence parts will be around for years to come.

Thanks for your thoughts. I currently have an Oxy 3 and love it but I would like more size for visual reasons. That small Oxy gets out of sight in a real hurry. Learning 3d is difficult because in order to fly high enough to be safe I lose orientation. I hope to solve this with this a bigger platform.

Never owned one, never even had the chance to fly one ( in real life flown the N7 on simulator) but I think it be around for some time, this is my dream helicopter maybe one day... keep telling myself that.. ive never even thought about that Matt might come out with a newer version and discontinue this one.. its never crossed my mind, I do not think it happen not for a while.. His helicopters are great when they come out, not many issues like other company's he takes pride in his company an products. Matt is a Stand up guy..

Now that I've seen the 766 design I don't see the e5 or e7 getting replaced any time soon. The airframes work very well. They perform and they are low maintenance. The 766 kept the same basic design with more options and beefed up drive train....so no reason to suspect anything dramatic happening to the other sizes

I own the E5 stretched to a 600 8s with 606 blades, E7 12s 696 blades, and an N7 OS105 hzr running 696 blades.

The only one I am missing is the N5c, soon to also be the 766.

You really can't go wrong with Synergy. They are all VERY customizable.

I own an E5 here in Canada and can say that this heli is supported 100% and it's my favourite to fly with hundreds of flights on it. My dealer The Heli farm, has kits and parts in stock just as a car dealer would, best by far period.

the e5 is here for a long time. even if it does get replaced, there are so many parts that interchange, parts would not be an issue IMO. BUT, it wont be replaced any time soon.....
