FBL wants to tip over during turn up
post carsh, R&R'ed blades, mast, bevel gears, boom and both pitch links.
( Battery was not puffed. and the feathering shafts does not wobble the grips when rotated. ) Anyhow, the 3G system responds to tilting as before, the tail gyro also responds correctly, as stated in title, she wants to tilt to the right as I get light on the skids. Any Ideas ( I searched back 0 pages but couldn't find a post with tip over or roll over ) |

Don't play around getting light on the skids. Pop that sucker up in the air and fly.

did you give it any cyclic input, you must never do that before it gets off the ground or it will tip over, also when landing as soon as the skids touch the ground stay far away from the cyclic stick or it will tip over..

no cyclic input given, i placed it on asphalft and pulled pitch !, blades went 1/2 to the ground and then it tilted back then lifted off, hovered fine but in slow ff had a pitching bobble ?
i later found one of the fwd servo arm retaining screws backed 1/2 way out though the arm was still tight on the servo. I'll inspect the sensor for secure attahment tomorrow . I need to write a pre-flight checl list and a 100 hour and annual ( 20 flight/50 flight check list). track on the new bladeswas out about 1/4", ajusted pitchlink, fix track still had bobble thnks for the replies. |
