Default kinda newbie asking for help

Hey guys-

i posted this in the newbie section but didnt get much of a response, so im hoping you guys can help me out a bit. i want to get back into helis. i fly giant scale electric 3D planes and want to get into 3D helis. the first heli i had, a trex 500, just made me too nervous to crash. i want to get back into them with the recent flybarless additions that make the heads have a few less parts. so here is what i want out of a heli:

-utilize my many 6s5000 packs while keeping the heli light
-flybarless
-maybe a 3 axis gyro that has a beginner aerobatic mode. i dont know whats out there, but i saw the gyrobot 900 and thought it would be cool...any thoughts on it?
-whats the best 3-axis flybarless gyro out there? is the align one any good? gyrobot 700/900? curtis youngblood products? skookum?

any and all help is extremely helpful. im considering looking at something like a trex550 or mikado 500.

first the flybarless system . i never used one but if i were to get one it would be the microbeast . easy setup and very user friendly .
for the 5000 packs something in the 600 range , i just orderd a chaos 600 and setting it up with 6- 5000 packs with a viper 1300kv motor . i am in the same boat as you as i have a bunch of packs and really dont have any use for them . i am going flybar though , like i said before never tried flybarless . last year or so there were a bunch of larger helis with 6 cells , these days now their harder to find with the advent of HV helis on 12 cells .

If your worried about crashing your larger heli than maybe something like the mcpx? It's really small but it's pretty crash resistant and cheap to repair. A lot of guys use it as a trainer. If you can wait a couple months the 130X looks pretty good too.
