DO THEY HAVE A MANUAL FOR HOW TO SET UP THE PITCH (WITH PICTURES) SO I CAN DO THE FINAL SET UP?

Mac, Refer to the Finless video's, the CCPM1 and CCPM2 videos have the final setup I believe.

hello i just finished puting together a trex 250 and flying it today i noticed that is drifting to the left alot but i checked and double checked my servos and they are all straight i also checked my settings on my radio (spektrum dx6i) and it seems fine so i was wondering if you have some advice i can use. of course if you have the time thank you so very much in advance have a great day..

Hi, what you describe is normal, helis drift to the left when the swash plate is level, because as the main rotor 'pulls' the heli directly up, the tail rotor blows it to the left. Some people trim the swashplate to a slight angle to compensate for this, others recommend you leave it as it is and get used to it since when you fly inverted you'll want the swashplate to be level anyway.

Also the smaller the heli is, the more you notice it drifting to the left.

It's called translating tendency. The TR counteracts MR Torque and pushes the heli opposite ot tial rotor thrust (to the left in a clockwise rotating MR heli)

Two words. HELIFREAKS VIDEOS. If not for finless bob and his detailed videos on trex450 and trex500, I wouldn't be able to have "perfect(no trim)" setup for my heli's.

If you are a former planker who's gotten away with non-computer tx, you are in rcheli technology now. No more shortcuts. YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY, learn everything about the tx servo/setup for the heli. If not, find a "mentor" on the field to do it for you. However, be warned he won't always be around after you crash/repair your heli.

It's to your advantage to watch the video so that you can FULLY MASTER the set-up process. Finless Bob has made great detailed videos. Even showing exactly what buttons to press on JR/Spektrum/Futaba transmitters. It will pay off in the future when you can fine tune the pitch/throttle curve yourself, so that heli flys even better.
