Default Can't get 3gx into head locking mode

i just upgraded my 450 pro to the new 3gx flybarless system. I cannot get the gyro into head locking mode. I have my gyro gain set to 70% so since it is above 50% is should be in head lock mode. did I miss something. I'm about ready to go back to my flybar and GP780 gyro. Please help

It should be in HH mode? If theres a green light then its in HH, if its red then its still in rate (not the gov light)

depending on the radio you are using it will be different. if you read the instructions the gyro gain channel for jr/spektrum is ch7 so i believe you have to set it to that if you are flying with sat. receivers. if you are using an external receiver with those then the gyro gain will be normal. if you fly futaba it will remain ch 5. if you are like me and fly with a futaba with a spektrum module then you will have to just use the EPA on the radio.

With 6 or less channels i think you need to full external RX.
