Default New align heli?

Found this on rcheliresource - what does it look like to you? they suggest it is a gasser, but could it be a 700 v2?

According to the text on the tank, it is a 700N. An Align 700 gasser would be neat.

Just because it has a spark plug does not make it a gasser exclusively. Most likely is however. I'm wondering if YS will bring the ignition system to their other engines besides the 1.70.

I have heard they are indeed working on a 700 Gasser and also a 700E. Stay tuned.

I talked to Derrick at OCMA. We will see how it goes. Yours was not edited, it was the site filter, there are now 2 sites that are filtered for abuse there used to be 3.

I'm glad we can all get along. I'm not trying to bash but what's good for one is good for all.

He even made a comment on facebook about the freak.

Derrick Threatt is impressed how big and well run the OCMA funfly was. Hats off to helifreak

You were obviously not around when Derrick made his grand entrance to HF, but no matter, the past is water under the bridge. Hopefully it can stay that way, it is much easier for me not to have to waste time on it.

Yes we heard from a pretty good source that things are in the works last weekend so I know a lot of people are going to be happy Gampers (Gas Campers) in the future if it all pans out.

I'm just a noob, but that front cyclic area looks foreign to me. Does that whole A-frame part slide up and down to function like a control link, without the need of a swash rotation retaining bracket?

So other than it being cheap to fill with gas what's the attraction to gassers? Everything i've seen is that they are heavy and underpowered. Or is it really an attraction to gassers or just because Align is doing it?

BTW, i'm not trying to bash here just understand why people want one.

right now the attraction to me is....Its cheap to fill with gas. The reason I never got one is because as you said, they are heavy and under powered. That being said im looking forward to Aligns take on a gasser platform. Hopefully it would be lighter and more agile than the current models (As well as cheaper)
