Default If you're using Tapatalk, please DO NOT enable geotagging

Due to the way the software running the HeliFreak forums auto-embeds Google maps from URLs, when posting from Tapatalk with geotagged signatures enabled, you will get a huge Google map at the end of every one of your posts, which has the potential to really clutter up the discussions.

Thanks, on behalf of the HeliFreak Support staff

What exactly is tapatalk? My droid gives me the pop up often but I ignore it as I can surf helifreak on my phone fine without it. Sorry if it's a stupid noob question.

It's a forum specific app.. it's really nice.. much faster than using HF through a phone browser.

I had to disable the auto embedding of google maps due to this latest Tapatalk Feature.

Tapatalk is a good app, I can even see it on my phone and the mobile browser I need reading glasses to read.

Check this out http://www.tapatalk.com/network.php

HF is the #23 site out of the top 50 using Tapatalk. Seems like our members are really liking Tapatalk.

A whole $2.99

And in many cases, dedicated apps work better then using the browser.

I use TT (tapatalk) for a couple years now. It is so much better than using my mobile browser. I frequent about 6 forums on a regular basis. Whats cool about tapatalk is you can even insert images from your phone into posts! Worth every penny of what they are asking for the app IMO.
