Default strange problem with 9503 and two satellites

posted this up in the demon section as well, thanks in advance if anyone has any insight

Okay please help because I'm at a loss here. I will give the whole story from the beginning and you will see by process of elimination we made a fair amount of discovery but also absolutely no conclusions lol.

A few weeks ago my friends 700 Trex Top edition started acting stupid in the tail, he said the tail was cutting out then coming back on. We messed and messed with it and couldn't duplicate it on the bench. We didn't think to look closely at anything else and figured well its got many hard flights and its the oem Align tail servo so lets just put a servo in there.

We installed a new Torq HV tail servo and it was fine for some flights. Then he said he experienced loss of control and was lucky to land it. We brought it to the bench and noticed the castle was beeping the code for loss of radio signal.

Then we watched it for a bit and sure enough it seems as we were wiggling satellite and rx 2s lipo wires we saw the satellite light flicker, and the demon go red led, and then the servos jiggled and came back online.

So.. We shut it down and inspected it last night on the bench. Unable to make it act up by spooling up with blades off and wiggling wires, unable to make it act up by wiggling wires. Installed two new satellite wires and just by fluke we noticed the satellite light start flickering, and it did it without touching wires. Watching it carefully it was doing it perdiodically. The Satellite wire would flicker, and sometimes the demon would go red led, and the castle would start beeping loss of radio signal. So we installed two other known good satellites now. Bind. And .... doing it again. Ocassionally satellite light starts to flicker.

So we unplugged all the servos, the castle esc, and just left the lipo plugged in with the satellites. Still did it. Then we unplugged that 2s lipo and tried another one. Still did it.

Then we brought my spare 3SX hooked it up, and guess what. Didn't do it. So one would think this is a 3sx issue ? However, when we swapped over to my 3sx we did a rebind. And we waited for like 10 minutes no flickering. Now. We went back to the original 3sx and did NOT rebind. and guess what, no flickering after like 20 mins.

So is this a possible issue with regards to the quality of the bind between the satellite and the radio ? He is running 3 other 3SX's and all machine running on twin satellites as the receivers, never a glitch. Probably a thousand flights since starting on 3sx last year this guy.

Thanks in advance for any help !
