On the website pictures, has anyone taken a close look at the bolts? My question is, are they some kind of star head bolts or do some of them look stripped out to you? Namely, the frame bolts and tail pully screws.

I'm 38. I placed the order at 6am German time, so 18hs later. I chose yellow windshield, neon red decoration. I like the neon red, don't like the yellow, but the other options were not to my taste. I doubted if doing neon orange in combination with red but it was too risky of not ending nice. Mine is 2100 too, no tax for foreign puchases. No mention of shipping included though.
I am doubting if I'd rather go with a Pyro and a HeliJive or the 4540 and a Kosmik 200. I'd like to enjoy the lightness of this heli so I might build it light and change it for ultra speed for Speed Cup 2013.

When I asked for recommendations for a second pinion for 2300 rpm Christian said "In the first step I recommend you to fly between 1400 and 2000 ( 20T @ 520 kv) with 16° Pitch (The Banshee flies like a weapon). Later you can still order a second pulley."

I bet they are not floating on pulleys yet so they'd rather not sell many to each customer. I liked the weapon thing!!!

Oh, coincidence or not, today I received confirmation of my Diabolo order. During the weekend I was thinking, if I get into the 50 Banshees I cancel my Diabolo order. Today I was "oh what the hell", so I paid for it and it ships friday.

The magic trio: TDR, Diabolo, Banshee. Only Voodoo missing... My second TDR will be for sale at IRCHA or after IRCHA back at home. Or, if I get the Banshee early August and am fast at building it I might take the 3D TDR and use the Banshee for the Speed Cup, don't know, I'd rather take a heli I am confortable with.

I just got confirmation from Hansjorg that the banshee will be shipped fully assembled! They are doing that to ensure we have a perfectly assembled heli and all we have to do is install our electronics. Kind of a bummer as I enjoy the build process alot. I also have never really trusted anyone else's pre assembled parts. Maybe Jan, but thats it. Too many instances of too much, not enough loctite, no grease etc. I guess 50 assembled by the actual creator will be done right.

Yeah, I won't doubt one bit it will be perfect. Regarding the screws I too noticed the tail pulley ones were strange, though they might be sheared and said naaaaaaa.

OK, so now that I've read it comes assembled there is no need to be a fast builder, just a fast electronics installer..... If it gets before August 11 I might take it to IRCHA.

Can't agree with you Marco anymore, I have an extra set of pyro black edition that I will try first until I get used to this heli then pump it up to 4540 on 14S before IRSCHA 2013, I bet it will be a cruise missile

Wonder whos gonna forget the canopy is cf and shields there rx antennas ??!

yea, I posted about that earlier. Futaba guys have an edge there with placement. We JR guys are going to have to expose the sats or get the carbon fuselage sats and run the wires through the futaba tubes.

If you look at the team pilot picture on the banshee website, the bottom picture has some sort of clamp around the boom that looks like antenna wires coming out of it. Maybe he has the carbon sats and their wires are running out of that clamp. It looks like he is using spectrum so it's possible at least.

This is going to be a long 2 months! At least we can let the euro crumble a little more before paying.

7 weeks I guess would be better. They said it was early august when shipping would start. So who knows. Sometimes parts take 2 weeks from Germany.

I was browsing today the Banshee website and stumbled on the video marked as 170A that has the black canopy, silver screen and yellow decals. The setup was 4525 and heliJive 120 HV, I noticed:
- the canopy has a hole that looked liked NACA duct used in our TDR. I wonder if we should ask them to do that for our canopies before shipping. After all we should be pampered based on their promised great customer care
- this heli experienced a shut down and crashed, wonder why?

So funny, i have been back and forth on Banshee website that I got the look from my wife today, she said "don't till me you did not buy it" , nothing bad happened, i guess i made a good move by getting her a Cartier ring few weeks ago
