wow, I'm scared of that. Thought he was going to loop it just after 2:00. Would definately want to keep the kiddies and pets from running up to get a closer look at that one. How much can it lift, how high does it go :o

apparently it costs 6000 eur (8300 usd) for the kit.

That is actually not too terrible, to fly that down your club has to be worth more than 4x the bragging rights of a JR vibe 90 SG.

That's nothing. Here's what Creighton Carr was flying at Heli Blaze:

OK, not really. It was a fun bit of illusion, though. That's a full-sized Careflite helicopter.

I'm amazed how close the guy was standing to the heli when spooling up! Not the brightest light on the tree!

Let's see if this link works. It's the one that brings up RR's photo viewer:

http://www.runryder.com/rrpw.htm?p=4319934&i=1

I'm trying to stay within copyright guidelines or else I'd just post my own copy of the photo.

That last one looks like a fake photo. Like pulling out your TX when the Blue Angles fly and saying you have control.

Oh, it's a real photo alright. We had a Careflite fly in as a demo at Heli Blaze and Creighton and the cameraperson just picked a creative angle from which to take the photo.

He looked about three blade lengths away to me...and those are hefty blades. Guess I'm just a little more cautious than the average bear.

That heli looks like it's set up for low-observable operation, in that you would be hard-pressed to pick it up on radar.
