No argument on cost, a CC 80 amp and rx pack is.far cheaper than 440$...

Leave the light, simple, reliable MSH helis alone dangit!

Ideally, MSH would make a 550 with a 600 stretch kit. A 6s motor option, and a 12s motor option. Leave it single belt drive, and make it light. I suppose I'd even forgive them for putting it on a carbon frame, as long as it's super light.

+1. A nice light - plastic- P500 with ample space to use a variety of servo's, brains and motors is perfect for me. I have about 10 P 500 in flying condition. None of them are stretched. Just different blades, servos but all with the same AR7200 to make swaps easy. Awesome machines.

Just bumping this. I heard grumblings of the 380 months ago on another site, then the posts were deleted.

Never any grumblings of a mid size heli.

I'm still hoping for a 6s 520-550 machine to finish out the lineup. It's my favorite size heli.

Nothing to announce. I think MSH has delivered more this year than any company out there. Can we breath a little? ;-P

Alex "THANK YOU" and all the folks at MSH, for making such a great helicopter !
Over the years I've had them all and have to say the Protos is by far my favorite, like the way its built, how it fly's, easy maintenance, customer support is fantastic
I'm just worried now that when the 3 blade is released I'll have to have a green one.

Hello Heli friends,
I have a kontronic piro 750-45L 38.5/6mm shaft ,jive pro 120+hv and 12s 5000 packs. Do you think this power set up could be used on a protos max v2 evo in a light weight low/medium headspeed set-up. Think it could work with a 770 protos max v2 evo?

I agree, and I am really impressed by the amount of new products MSH is developing.

But, whatever you are planning as a next model, PLEASE, PLEASE keep up the spare parts support for the MiniP and Protos 500!

I think the 380 is a great addition but there are many people that still fly and love their miniP. And if you are going to a 550-600class heli I beg you to continue selling the P500, too! I think the 425 - 480mm class is something that many people enjoy. I love to be able to share batteries with the 325-380mm helis and fly also in smaller areas.
