Exclamation I was there.

I was there for this video at the dome. I have been following this thread for some time. I have a Mini P and was considering getting this kit until I started reading all the negative commments. I then thought, " Wow glad I didnt jump in the water on this one". Well watching this heli fly about 6 flights I can honestly say I would NOT hesitate in buying this kit. It is hard to tell from the video but this thing was so smooth and rock stolid. The tail was just dead on accurate. Barnstormer also flew it and it was just as locked in. I have never seen a smaller heli fly so well. Dont let all the detractors stop you from getting this kit. Maybe wait for the second run but it looks like I now have no choice but to get one.

P,S.
The motor did make that sound for just a second on spool up
And
Great flying Eric. He was more than willing to help other people out with advice. Very knowledgable and helpful guy!

This is just one more reason to believe that Eric is one of the best pilots in the world. Man, what a fantastic flight!!! Great setup, too! Naysayers? See the video, wring your hands, then pop out the plastic! It's a party in Warp land!

Gotta love the T-Shirt, too!

Default Eric Brandenburg @ The Dome Vid 2

This is the last flight Jason and I put on the Warp Saturday night. So far so good, it has about 6-7 flights on it now and no issues to report. I find that about 2800 rpm with the stock blades is perfect for indoor flying. It should go for about 5 mins at this headspeed and my flying style.

Hopefully Jason can share some more on his set up, it felt excellent.

Nice flying, this is even better than the first vid... also this is the first time I seen that "hotdog" maneuver

Great flying, great setup, great all around. Great commentary at the end, too! Thanks for sharing!

From the other video, it looks like 75% flat on the Koby.

My setup is:

Stock motor and blades
Stock 16t pinion
Edge tails
Koby 40 esc
MKS ds95 on cyclic
MKS ds95i on the tail
Chrome 6s 45c 1300mah batteries
Ikon FBL controller
Goverened headspeed of 2800 with a flat TC of 75%
12.5 degres of collective

Ikon settings:

Set to "Extreme 3d" with tail speed set to 540 and cyclic speed set to 400, the cyclic gain was raised 5 points from stock to 36% and the rest of the settings are stock. Had maybe 20% expo on cyclic and 25% on the tail in the radio.

Warp + Ikon + Eric B = EPIC!

What a refined blend of machine+skills, both of them in a high level.
It seems there is lots of belt slap during the flight, or is it another sound?

Nice...like the fluid style! Not sure about the weight comments I've been hearing but it sure doesn't look to "fly heavy."

That motor noise on startup sounds pretty ugly. I didn't hear the same noise on landing though. Also, judging from the mini auto at the end, sure looks like the non-driven tail works nice...seems like there's plenty of energy left for an auto.

Nice...

I have a question about the video. When he lands the heli in the end, how come the tail rotor stops spinning while the main rotor is still spinning. I thought in torque tube or belt driven tail systems if the main rotor spins, then the tail rotor spins.
