Question 6.0V 7.5 amp duralite regulator question

I have the 4000mah tp rx pack, spectrum DS281x3 and a futaba 9254 for the tail, 401 gyro. Do I need a step down for this? Or can I just " plug and play"? Any help most welcome, thanks in advance!

ps. this is for a rappy 30 v2 by the way!
