Received spare blades from WOW, and just got e-mail confirmation from TinyBright about my order. They are ready to be shipped. So hopefully I can receive them soon.

OK, it's Big Lama's "B" or lower blades. I have just picked a pack of 4 from LHS and will test them on CB180Q tomorrow.

The bad news is I wound up picking up the Big Lama as well, because it looks kind of cute. My wife is talking about helicopter addiction, but I don't know where she gets this idea from...

Also waiting on my replacement tail-rotor blades from WOW. They shipped out Monday so I SHOULD get those any day now. Perhaps lights and tail-rotor will arrive at the same time.
Ho you install the TinyBright kit? On the site doesn't appear to have battery power or similar...

I'm not sure yet on how to install those lights. They should be shipping them out to me today so I should get them some time next week.
I'll let you know when I receive them and post pic's of my build.
I'm just happy I got my replacement tail blades and I can fly it!

I'm really happy for you...
I still have huge trouble to replace my tail blades... I'm not able to pop off the blade... is really really tight and I'm scared to damage the engine or the tail mechanism...

I read to cut off the tail blades in insert the new one on the pin... I will see...

if your really worried about damage just heat up a hobby knife, and slice threw the plastic in 2 places. should fall off that way.

I thought the same thing, but I just slowly pulled the old tail rotor and it came off. But I wasn't too scared since I had four replacements! LOL!

Tested Big Lama "B" blades on CB180Q today. Full success, flew it for about 5 minutes and there is no notable difference in the way the CB180Q flies, everything looks just fine. The blades are exactly same shape as originals, but they're are 6-7mm longer. They're made out of the same plastic as standard Lama v4 blades, so they feel sturdier then Walkera ones. Haven't crashed it, so can't testify to their crash resistance yet...

Awesome, good to hear. Mine are on the way. Is there a "B" label on the blades so that a person can tell the difference between the A & B blades? The reason I ask is because I have 2 A & B sets coming.

Thanks

Yep, no worries; there is a label on the package and a letter stamped out on the blade itself. Plus, if you put the "A" blade next to the original it will become clear why you can't use that one. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words...

I bought all the madhawk head parts to put on my hbfp v2 from xheli. Does any one know where I can get the 2 screws that attach the flybar [ part # 50h28-07 ] to the rotor head [ part # 50h28-05 ]. I talked to xheli support [ ? ] and you can not get these screws from them. What do all the people with this heli do if you loose one of these screws...thanks

isn't a hbfp (humming bird fixed pitch right?) v2 a e sky heli, or is it a clone of a walkera like the novous is? did a search for hbfp v2, and all the hits showed it as a e sky. there is a room for the hbfp v1/v2 although you probably already asked there. just out of curiosity witch walkera is a hbfp v2 if it is a clone? always looking to learn more about different brands of helis.

Yes the heli is an e-sky honey bee v2 but the rotor head I am putting on it from a cb180. So the parts I need are walkera parts.

Thanks SBM. I already have the screw pack, But by looking at the picture it's the bearings I don't have. I thought It was just a screw that went in there but It also has a bearing. Thanks so much to the link for wow hobbies. they are 30 miles away from where i live. I just ordered what I need
