Anyone using a vbar NEO on the black edition.

Im running 125 agility and still i am not able to get the flip/roll rate fast like my other helicopters.

Can anyone help what can be done to get more flip/roll rate.

Another question how do we adjust the cyclic ring. My helicopter is hitting the cyclic ring on the bench. How do we tune that.

If i remember it is on the prof tab on the swash selection menu.

Cyclic Ring in expert menu of Swash is 85 and Rescue (if you have this) is 65

Factory setting is 85 on the cyclic ring. Do we decrease to fine tune it if it is hitting the cyclic ring on the bench or remain it at factory default as it doesnt bind in flight but only on the bench

I'd suggest making several bench tests until the cyclic ring does not touch anymore.
Honestly I have checked everything was all right from the start during the helicopter assembly.

PS : as soon as possible, i want to test the agility with values over 100

i have my agility set at 125.

Will be trying paddle simulation at 15 or maybe 20 later on.

Is it too slow on full stick or just off center? Paddle sim should help with the latter, but not the former. Cyclic ring should be checked at mid stick, shouldn't have any binding there.

At midstick its fine. Binds only at extreme collective max and min.

Have you run the optimizer? The optimizer has a big impact to the agility.

Stock was 65 and i have taken it to 73 but havnt flown yet.

I have run up to 155 on agility before to achieve the rates I'm looking for. Generally I am around 130 though. Also cyclic ring should be set at midstick, and checked with full aileron and elevator inputs.

At midstick the aikeron and elevator doesnt bind but at full positive or negative collective the cyclic ring gets actuve on the bench.

Once input is given at max or min collective the swash compensates and goes back to its original place.

If you check your logs during flight do you ever see it say the cyclic ring is active? On the bench it will show this message a lot, but if it's not showing it in flight then it is okay.

IF I understand your problem, It looks like the FBL gyro is causing what you see. Try disabling the gyro, can usually be done in the FBL setup when setting the angles for pitch, and then repeat the experiment. the swash interactions should be gone or very minimal. Then dont forget to re enable the gyro. The artifact seen is normal.

thanks everyone. Iv adjusted the cyclic ring. Reduced it for 85 to 79 and it doesnt bind now
