It did very well, It came in at around £150 with a new canopy & blades so quite reasonable I thought.

It surprises me how strong they are, I expected a lot more damage.

It flies just as good as before

I hated the OEM paint my 600L came with so a can of Krylon fixed it. This is about as fancy as I get. I am amazed at how professional some of those heli pics posted in this thread came out.

This is after when a linkage breaks in mid flight and the blades are spinning at 2,500 RPM!

My 600EP flybar. Custom high-clearance aluminum landing gear. GoPro. FPV. Pixhawk autopilot. Stock straight-cut gears replaced with helical. Flies for 20 minutes on 8.3A 6S.

Oh yeah, can't forget the servo-operated belly hook

Got my 600 ESP airframe put back together and 2 test flight. It’s too big to do much more than hover practice in my driveway with but the stability is amazing. This thing flies like a lead brick it just sits there. My 500 is great makes my 450 not even a thought anymore.

Very Nice.
Its been a few years since I last flew my copters. Maybe its time to dust off the blades with a few flights. (After cleaning, lubricating, and general safety inspection)

Here are my copters.
Left to Right
Century G20 Radikal
Trex 600 (converted to flybarless)
Trex 600 (converted to flybarless)
HK 450 FBL (Trex 450 clone)
3rd Gen Trex 450 w/ flybar (fully retired)
I have a few glider "repair" projects before I can begin working on the copters again.
I don't really care for all the doodads needed to run the gasser, but flying around for 20 minutes and still having fuel in the tank is pretty nice.

Default My Trex 600E

My Upgraded Trex 600E. I'm running a 1000kv motor with a 16 tooth pin gear, Align 70amp ESC, Yougblood Mains, KBDD Extreme tail blades and Raptor 30 black paddles, GY401/9254 on the tail, and Futaba on cyclics. She runs on a single 5000mah 6s 40c Turnigy. She's an excellent flyer, nice and stable.

Here's mine. Stretched 5.5" and running 690 blades. It has a 750mx motor and I added a three bladed tail since I took the pic.

Default Original Gen 1 Trex600e

Had this since it came out. First gen trex600e with the greenish/grey metal frames. I've changed a lot since I bought it when it first came out.

Flies well and is very well behaved, especially with the AXON.

The canopy is a recent purchase Trex600Pro ... fits well, looks better than the original canopy if you can get them. Just needed to drill a new hole further up and behind and make a canopy clip on the bottom

Default Check This Out

Bought this OG Trex600CF 17 years ago. Still using the greenish grey tailboom and Futaba S9253 tail servo! haha. Say what you want about Align but the parts support and upgrades even 17 years later is in a league of there own. GrandRc is awesome!
Align, Beastx, Castle Creations, & Savox, you have a customer for as long as your in buisness.
This was my first attempt at a multi-bladed head. Took a bit of effort with sourcing the right links and rod ends and setting it up but I finally got it. I think I would actually be more sad if I crashed the Trex600 over my Logo700!
